A fake Hummer made after a pair of Suzuki Jimni combined

A fake Hummer car made after a pair of Suzuki Jimni are combined next to each other shows the result of a single wide car with an old Hummer design identity.

A group of students from Nippon Automobile College (NATS) presented a wondrous version of HMMR cars at the 2024 Tokyo Motor Show.

This car, known as the NATS Shakotan Jimny J1, looks like a low-altitude version from the ground like the Toyota Mega Cruiser with the end result being a Japanese-made Hummer.

This modified vehicle was manufactured by combining the parts of the Suzuki Escudo and the first generation of the Suzuki Gemini.

Specifically, the students who built this unusual project used the Suzuki Escudo SUV and the H25A V6 petrol engine. Meanwhile, the chassis was formed by combining two versions of the first-generation Suzuki Jimini cars.

Along with the air suspension that hits the ultra-low chassis towards the ground, this object attracts attention in a way that Hammer’s never did.

Fortunately, the design presented by NATS students still seems to have an interior space in which one can sit upright. Speaking of interior space, a large part of the trunk is equipped with a Diecock sound system with a total of 12 speakers, including two large speakers, so the storage space is minimal and as a condolence so load bars have been added on the roof adding a practical look to a fake Hummer car.

Other pieces in this design are a Moon Eyes Japan steering wheel, Toyo-branded tires, and a range of custom rims from iMLA. The H25A engine in this version didn’t get any power modifications, so it still produces about 160 horsepower, the same as the 2001 Suzuki Escudo engine.

This was all the information we had about the result of combining my Suzuki Jimini with the Suzuki Escudo chasi and a V6 petrol engine into a car inspired by old Hummer cars that stopped producing
