After many thrills, BMW unveiled the Station Waggen version of the 5 Series 2025 in North America, the BMW i5 Touring 2025.

, the all-electric version of the 5 Series luxury sedan with its eighth and all-new generation, and today we are talking about its sister, the Stension Wagen, which comes in a larger length with better rear storage space.

Speaking of electricity, the i5 is the model of choice for BMW car enthusiasts who want to drive fast. The i5 M60 xDrive Touring is the highest performance in the BMW i5 Touring 2025 range, it comes with 593 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque, the same specifications available in the sedan although increasing the size of the Stench Wagen slows the car slightly.

According to BMW’s statements, the i5 M60 xDrive Touring can accelerate from still to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with an electronically-set top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).

As mentioned, the i5 M60 is considered the highest performance version, but the Standard i5 eDrive40, which relies on a single electric motor in the rear, which gives a maximum power of 335 horsepower and makes this fully electric car accelerate from normacy down to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, and can travel a maximum distance of 560 km/h (348 mph).

In the world of petroleum cars, the new 5 Series Turing is still electrified with either hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid engines (hybrid with socket). The 530e uses a four-cylinder two-cylinder BMW engine with a turbocharger with an electric motor to generate a combined power of 295 hp and an electric range of only 96 km (60 mi). The four-wheel drive version has the same performance, but the range drops to a maximum of 88km (55 miles). The 520d uses a 2-liter turbo diesel engine with a light hybrid system of 195 hp, and is offered with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel-wheel-drive. Then there’s the 540d xDrive Touring that is based on a 3-liter V6 diesel engine with a light hybrid system with a total power of 295 hp.

What we didn’t see mentioned in the BMW announcement is anything about the new M5 Touring high-performance version of the 60 Wagen. We’ve seen several camouflaged prototypes being tested around the world, but rumors suggest they could be equipped with a mechanical kit derived from its sister XM 2024, and could have up to 700 horsepower to attract customers from its Audi RS6 Avant.

In this news, we introduced you to the specifications of the BMW i5 Touring 2025, the all-electric version of the fifth series 2025, the Turing version (Station Wagen).
