Bugatti is preparing to make a big stir in the world of supercars with the launch of the latest Bugatti cars that will be a replacement for Chiron in the middle of this year, the third model launched by the French company since joining the German Volkswagen Group, which it abandoned in recent years to be under the management of the Croatian company Rimak.

Following the resounding success of the Bugatti Veyron models introduced in 2005, and the Bugatti Chiron, which started in 2016 and is still ongoing, there is a new supercar coming with the Bugatti logo.

The new car, which has yet to be revealed in many details, is expected to impress the wealthy around the world, as it may be more exclusive than its predecessors.

For his part, Matti Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, announced via his Instagram account that the first model of the latest Bugatti cars was on special in November of the previous year.

Although the company declined to comment on speculation in forums about what type of engine the new car would contain, Nicole Oger, Bogatti’s head of communications, confirmed that the vehicle’s disclosure would be in the middle of this year.

Bugatti is clearly taking a new turn in its models, as it will dispense with the traditional 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers for which the company is famous.

It has been confirmed that the last model to use this giant engine is the Bugatti Mistral Roadster and the Track-only model, Boled.

Reports are about what might leave behind this engine, with some suggesting it would be the 8.3-liter V16 engine developed by Cosworth, while others expect the engine to be smaller in size, such as Lamborghini Revuelto’s V12 engine or Volkswagen Group’s V8 engine.

There is also the possibility that the engine is completely new. However, it has been confirmed that the newest Bugatti cars will be a hybrid.

The new car, the latest design by Achim Anshaidt, the former Bugatti design manager who retired in 2023, has been in operation since 2021.

Design and innovation concepts are expected to take to new heights, with Anshaidt describing the car as “much more cool” than Mistral, stressing that it will be amazing in terms of proportions, technology, innovation and quality.

It is rumored that the new model of the Bugatti will be based on an all-new chassis, after the Chiron model was a profound development for Veyron.

Reports suggest that this car may be more exclusive than its predecessors, of which 500 Chiron versions (not all have been made so far) and only 450 copies of Veyron cars have been produced.
