New Tesla Roadster promises 0 to 100 acceleration in less than a second!

New Tesla Roadster promises 0 to 100 acceleration in less than a second!

With ongoing promises and delays, Tesla appears to be preparing to launch the new Tesla Roadster, the long-awaited sports car that is supposed to redefine electric performance in the automotive world.

After a long period of silence, Elon Musk announced, via social media, new developments flying the car to promising horizons, exciting followers and skeptics alike.

Musk was once again surprised by claiming that the Tesla Roadster 2 could accelerate from zero to 96 km/h in less than one second, with references to a possible collaboration with SpaceX — owned by Musk himself — to provide it with rocket boosters, an idea that seems to have come out of a science fiction movie.

These claims come after years of delays and renewals of specs, leaving some question whether these promises will see the light of day.

Despite talking about rocket boosters and fictional numbers, Tesla claims the car will be a four-seater and a removable glass roof, challenging the traditional “roadster” concept. However, breaking norms is part of Tesla’s philosophy.

According to Musk, the final design of the productivity version of the new Tesla Roadster is set to be decided this year, hoping that shipping operations will begin in 2025.

But even if we ignore the talk of missile boosters, the announced numbers still seem to be in question.

The company offers a car at a top speed of over 402 km/h and a range of up to 998 km resulting from a huge battery. As for the price of the car, it will start at $200,000, with the “Founders Edition” raising the price to $250,000.

More recently, Musk has become more known for his aggressive statements than for his electric vehicle development capabilities. He has spent nearly a decade promoting autonomous driving capabilities that are still in development at the time of writing, and has been purchased for Twitter with a lot of drama.

But that’s nothing new on Musk or on the Tesla Roadster that was first announced in 2017, and if it ever becomes a reality, it will be the most successful project in terms of delaying the launch.
